Canterbury City Council gives notice that the Returning Officer is conducting a review
of polling districts, polling places and polling stations in the Canterbury Parliamentary
Constituency and the part of the North Thanet Parliamentary Constituency that falls
within the boundaries of the Canterbury district.
Electors within these constituencies may make representations and the Returning
Officer will make comments on existing and proposed polling stations. Details of the
existing polling places and polling stations can be viewed on the council website at
www.canterbury.gov.uk/consultations , requested from the council using the contact
details below, or viewed at the council offices in Military Road, Canterbury.
Electors within the authority may make a representation. The council welcomes the
views of all residents, particularly disabled residents, on the proposals, the Returning
Officer’s representation or any other related matter. If possible, those making
representations should give alternative places that may be used as polling places.
